Hello my Hy-Vee friends!

That big game (that I cannot name) is coming up in less than a couple days and boy am I excited. I have no clue who is playing, of course, but I do know what I will be eating. Sure, there will be wings, sliders, and the spinach dip-- but the beauty of that game is that you can bring whatever you want. And I wanted something different.

The other day as I was enjoying an everything bagel (a bagel that literally has everything on it) it occurred to me, why not put all those flavors into a dip? I dug into my spice box and pulled out all the spices and seeds that I would need.

I mixed with softened cream cheese and a little sour cream to thin it out. I grabbed a bagel chip, got a decent dollop. This dip had all the flavors I loved in one bite.

If you want to be “fancy” you can top it with smoked salmon and it makes this decadent dip even better. And best of all if don’t want to make you can grab some from our deli already made for you.

So stop by and say Hi at West Lakes Hy-Vee,

And as always Praise the Lard!
